Michael “Brian” Cullen has been called a “One-Man Community Service Organization” by former employees, clients and other barristers who often don’t quite understand his motivation to work so hard for struggling clients. His colleagues believe it is fun for him; his employees think of it as therapy for him, but Brian feels that each person who contacts his office truly needs legal advice to resolve some conflict that only a legal professional can do. Every client is very important to Brian, and he and his staff pay particular attention to their clients’ issues so that the smallest detail is not overlooked.
Brian is not only a hard working attorney but also a loving husband and devoted father. He enjoys camping and rock climbing with his family and has traveled all over the world pursuing his hobby.
Florentino Garza, Retired, is a name synonymous with legal excellence and success in the Inland Empire. He had an opportunity to be appointment a Superior Court judge by Governor Jerry Brown but refused to take the position on the bench so that he would be able to guide his son, his daughter in law, Municipal Court Judge Donald Alvarez and many other colleagues that stayed in close proximity to the practice of law. He was a community leader and voice for the Hispanic culture in the Inland Empire for over 56 years. He was also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, International Trial Lawyer’s Association and a past President of the Arrowhead Country Club.
Mr. Garza is currently retired but his reputation of aggressive, ethical, and extremely professional representation of his clients permeates our firm, and his wisdom and advice continues to influence and motivate Law Offices of Brian Cullen, APC to provide the highest level of service possible to its clients.
Alan J. Leahy, Of Counsel, has worked with Brian since the firm of Tomlinson, Prince, Cullen & Leahy. His education includes international and comparative law at Magdalen College in Oxford, England and graduation from UCLA with emphasis in employment law and related litigation. Alan has over 15 years of extensive experience in working with the California Department of Fair Housing, EEOC, HUD and the private sector providing advice and guidance on a wide variety of personnel issues including education of employees and complex employment contract disputes. Mr. Leahy also has an outstanding record of success in resolving matters whether through litigation or negotiation for employers involving allegations of harassment, discrimination and retaliation. Alan is from The Leahy Law Firm APC in Claremont California where he resides with his wife and family.
Maria Isaza is our lead consultant for Loan Modification and Short Sales and we are extremely proud to have her working with our firm. Maria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics, with an emphases in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara; a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of LaVerne; She holds her teaching credentials in Mathematics and is a license real estate broker. Maria is the sole Owner/Broker of Elite Class Realty since 2007 and has numerous clients that have completely re-established their lives with her help over the last 20 years. Maria is a loving mother of a beautiful 4 year old daughter who supports and participates in every area of her daughter’s life.
Laura Logan is our lead Probate Paralegal and has been involved with Probate matters since 1959. Needless to say, Laura is a seasoned professional who enjoys everything involved with giving support to grieving relatives as they go through the probate process with dignity. She truly favors being able to bring a one on one contact with clients to improve their journey as they settle the estates of loved ones. Laura is quick to accept any challenge of our clients as well as her co-workers, who depend upon her as much as the clients. Laura has worked for several law firms in the Inland Empire and since 1981 she has been an independent contractor and foresees continuing her career with no thoughts of retiring.
